Sponsored by the West Cape May Business Association, the Strawberry Festival has become one of the most popular and anticipated events in the spring. Locals and visitors alike look forward to this festival where strawberries are in abundance in everything from food to clothes to artwork. This year, the festival will be taking place Saturday June 1st from 9am-5pm at the beautiful Wilbraham Park in West Cape May. This park is just a 10-minute walk from our hotel so a perfect event for our guests to attend!
One of the reasons this Strawberry Festival has become so popular is the myriad of vendors that come. There will be over 100 different vendors featured this year, each celebrating the strawberry in their own way. You’ll be treated to cookies, floats, shaved ice, empanadas, ice cream, lemonade and hand-crafted sodas. We highly encourage you not to miss out on tasting the crab cakes, seafood kabobs, and bbq chicken vendors – they are always the most popular!
Once you have had your fill of food, take some time to shop the artisans on hand. You’ll find antiques, clothing, art, pottery, jewelry, t-shirts, honey, wine and lots more!
The atmosphere will be full of live music by Bill the Steel Drum Guy, Five Time Famous, The Geno White Trio, and Angelina Bella.
