We have a date folks! June 1st is not just the start of a new month, it’s when our beautiful resort hotel here in Cape May, NJ will be reopening our doors once again! We have been patiently abiding by the rules and regulations but we can’t be more excited to start fresh yet again. We are looking forward to what the summer has in store. Today we wanted to give you a reminder of the care and caution we are taking going forward as well as a look into what’s happening around town.
Following CDC Guidelines
Carroll Villa and Mad Batter’s highest priority is and has always been the health and safety of our guests and employees. we will be following all CDC guidelines for sanitizing to keep our guest safe during their stay. While we always maintain extremely high standards and take great pride in the cleanliness of our restaurant and hotel, it is more critical than ever right now. We are taking enhanced steps to ensure both guest and employee safety in addition to our comprehensive daily cleaning procedures. Additional cleaning regimens are being conducted routinely in restrooms. We also continue to provide our employees with up-to-the-moment guidance from public health officials and information so they can keep themselves, their families, and our guests safe. We have no higher priority than ensuring the health and safety of our customers and employees upon our reopening.
Anticipating a Beautiful Cape May Summer
The stay at home orders across the country have given many of us a big dose of wanderlust…ready to leave home and enjoy some adventure! We want our hotel to feel like a home away from home for our guests. Our elegant suites have a calming Victorian charm. To make you feel pampered, each room is uniquely decorated with special touches. Many of our rooms also offer a glimpse of the ocean. There is just something so relaxing about waking up to the view of water!
Beaches are reopening for sitting and sunbathing although there is no swimming allowed yet. So, bring your blankets and beach chairs and enjoy some sunshine by the water! Social distancing requirements, however, are still being enforced and beach tags are also not required as of yet. The promenade is open for walking and jogging. All restaurants in Cape May are currently closed. However, many of our local eateries, including our restaurant, the Mad Batter, are offering take-out and/or delivery options.
