Room Amenities

All of our guest rooms have TVs, air conditioning, mini refrigerators, free wireless Internet access, and private baths. Additionally, we provide hair dryers, bathroom toiletries, irons, and ironing boards. We are a non-smoking hotel.

Due to the historic nature of the building, we do not have an elevator and are walk-up only.

Arrival

When you arrive at our hotel, please pull into the guest unloading zone just across from the front entrance, set your flashers, and come inside for check-in where we will direct you to parking.

If you plan on arriving later than 8:00 p.m., please call the hotel ahead of time so that we can explain our late arrival procedure.

Dining

A $30 breakfast voucher for use in The Mad Batter Restaurant is included in the nightly room rate (if booking through an online booking agent such as booking.com, Expedia.com, etc will not receive a $30 voucher) During the winter months of January and February, breakfast is offered Friday through Monday only, and is subject to the restaurant’s hours of operation. The restaurant is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Hotel guests receive a 30% discount on the purchase of dinner entrees at our restaurant (excluding alcohol.) Please check MadBatter.com for hours and menus, and to make your reservation. Beach Access

Our Cape May hotel is located just a half block from the beach. During the summer season, beach tags will be provided to hotel guests for access to the beach. We also supply complimentary beach towels available at the front desk. Beginning Memorial Day, we partner with Stegers Beach Service to provide beach chairs and umbrellas, weather permitting.

Carroll Villa Hotel graciously welcomes all guests. Carroll Villa Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470 et seq.) or is designated as historic under State or local law (§ 36.405 Alterations: Historic preservation.). Thus, we are not able to offer handicap accessible accommodations since such alterations would destroy the historical significance of the property.

Here are items to note about our property:

Parking/Loading Zone – We do not have onsite parking. We have a loading zone across the street where our guests can unload. If you have a handicap plaque or license plate, you can park at a meter for free.
Exterior Routes/Building Entrances/Lobby – We do not have a handicap exterior route, handicap entrance, ramp, or lobby ADA features.
Interior Routes – We do not have an elevator, stairs only; therefore, there is no wheelchair access throughout the property.
Public/Common Restrooms – We do not offer ADA features in any of our restrooms.
Interior Signs – We include signage for our public restroom, fire exits, boiler room, guest rooms, restaurant, and hotel. We do not have signage for our stairway.
Food Service Areas – We do not offer ADA features in our food service areas.
Guest Rooms – We do not offer handicap accessible rooms.
